Boy, 14, driven off and beaten

Comments (36)A TERRIFIED schoolboy was bundled into the back of a car by a gang, driven to a remote spot, beaten up and dumped there, a jury heard.
Burnley Crown Court was told the 14-year-old, from Nelson, was punched and kicked.
He was left injured, bleeding and with a footprint on his forehead.
When he took police to the scene of the attack they found his blood on the road.
Five men have admitted assaulting the youngster last April in Nelson.
The court heard the victim was said to have been accused of talking to the female cousin of one of the gang at the school they both attended.
Prosecutor Jeremy Grout-Smith told the jury: "Whether this was the motive for the attack remains to be seen."
Imran Yousaf, 18, of Howgill Close, Nelson, Zeshan Ali, 22, of Vulcan Close, Padgate, Warrington, Mujahid Ansar, 18, of St Paul's Road, Nelson, Imran Ali, 19, of Carr Road, Nelson and a Nelson 17-year-old all admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Mr Grout-Smith said the boy was pushed into a car as he walked home from a takeaway on Larch Street.
He said the victim met Yousaf in the takeaway and was told "I hear you have been talking to my cousin."
The boy said he had not and he was told "you're coming with us."
The prosecutor said the teenager was taken to waste land near Lomeshaye Industrial estate.
The boy was pulled from the car and punched in the face.
He was also struck with a weapon, which the court heard was possibly an anti-theft car lock.
Mr Grout-Smith said the youngster was knocked to the ground before being kicked repeatedly to the face, head and stomach.

Anyway - there's obviously a story to this incident, it certainly doesn't look like some random attack. What had the 14 year-old done to create the situation? I'm not suggesting he deserved what happened, but half of you people who post on these threads about 'bloody ethnics' also post comments about how, when convicted, criminals should be tortured, beaten, hanged, locked up forever etc... now what if this 14 year-old had committed some such crime, and the five men named in the article were simply taking YOUR view of what justice means, and administering it?
Maybe that's not the case, but it's not right to judge anyone on half a story - which is exactly what this is.

I might have worded my comment a bit badly - I was not for a second saying that the victim deserved what happened, or that the men did nothing wrong, or that it was okay for them to do what they did. I was responding to the moronic and sickening racist abuse that was posted before I arrived, and I was trying to point out that the story is only half of a tale.
The article doesn't really go into any depth about what happened to create this situation in the first place - I was just trying to highlight that people post on here demanding that some people who break the law be punished in grotesque ways, and now the same kind of people are posting horribly offensive things on this thread about these men - yet they do not know anything about why the men did what they did.
Like I said - I don't know the story, and if - as seems to be the case - this boy had done nothing wrong, and not provoked the attack at all, then I am sorry to anyone who is offended by what I said.
And Richard in Nelson - I'm not entirely what it is you're trying to say. I don't have any 'socalled brothers' - I'm an only child! I think maybe it's an ignorant comment implying that I am a member of an 'ethnic minority'? Not that it matters at all, but just so you don't carry on feeling all smug and clever - I'm wite, blonde hair, blue eyes, born and bred in the Northwest of England, and my family has been in the U.K. for as many generations as I have ever heard of. This makes me no more British that many of 'these ethnics', but perhaps in your mind it does...

The fact is they are guilty -they said so themselves! -therefore evidently they are also cowards(5 adults V. 1 Kid)

No doubt normal asians cant stand low life like these rats either -these 'bad boys'(losers) do not discriminate in their thuggery and criminal activity.
6 months is not enough but at least 6 months of anxiety every time they go to pick the soap in the communal showers -might redress the balance.
They are gonna meet some real bad boys when they get inside.

plead guilty to a lesser charge and the more serious charge is dropped.
suprised they all turned up for court if i'm being honest,and why so long before they are up in court anyway if they have pleaded guilty.

what a sad world we live in... 5 cowards attacking a 14 year old school boy. These guys dont have any shame. What honour are they trying to save? A few months ago the LET reported the arrest and subsequent prosecution of 2 brothers called Ansar on drug related offences... it will not come as no surprise that these are the younger brothers of the aforementioned .... also of the remaining three one has already served time in prison on similar charges. These are members of local criminal families and w e should support the police in making sure that scum like this is washed of our streets...its not a black/white thing its idiots/sensible people thing.

Back in the real world all 5 would possibly be considered guilty of the greater charge of kidnap, whether they struck the boy or not, and all 5 would certainly have been found guilty of assault to which they already pleaded guilty (their solicitor would have told them this).
That said, I'm suspect as to whether or not you are just a wind up merchant with your atrocious spelling; e.g. "tym"!

I think in this case we should all look at the crime that has been committed. These criminals deserve to be locked up. Stop focussing on skin colour. Its irrelevent.

The main point I want to make though is to Alice Nutter..you say you have never seen any hard working asians, I know of loads working as GPs and junior doctors throughout lancashire, manchester, cheshire, and yorkshire.Some are working over 100 hours a week, they are hardworking and asian and NOT claiming benefits. Please stick to facts not prejudices and ignorant views that you have formed..I work myself full time & have done ever since I left uni 8 years ago...never been to the job centre to claim anything even when I was entitled to so please stop sounding so foolish, childish and downright ignorant. There are numerous other professionals I could point out to that include hardworking asians...it has nothing to do with this, it is about thugs whether white or asian thinking that they can take the law into their own hands..its not even about culture in this case, I know the boys involved, and that is what they merely are, childish boys who think they are men..cowards really.It is a form of bullying by certain gangs in Nelson...send them to the war torn parts of the world to serve the UK and with them,send all those other right wingers on here from the other side of the spectrum..and leave them there!
