A CHARITY evening in aid of two charities for disabled people raised well over £1,000.
The money is still being counted from the event held at Ewood Park for Access Lancashire, which gives disabled people advice on issues from discrimination to employment, and CARE Stanley Grange, a home in Samlesbury which provides support to disabled people through accommodation and day services. Pictured are (front, left to right) Denise Baker, of Access Care, guest speaker Margo Grimshaw, Blackburn with Darwen mayoress and mayor Barbara Arkley and Coun Dorothy Walsh and Anne Peers and daughter Suzanne Ingham, who organised the event.
