MORE than 200 responses have been given to a uniform survey commissioned by Bowland High School.

Headteacher John Tarbox has thanked everyone who took part and said that a final decision on whether to alter the current uniform will be taken soon.

He said: "We will summarise the responses and provide feedback about decisions made regarding the main issues raised in due course.

"Any changes to uniform will not be implemented before the start of the next academic year.

"Decisions of this nature have to be taken at this time of year to give uniform suppliers a chance to order products for the summer.

"Whilst we have had a lot of discussion about this in school no decisions have been made to date.

"Parental opinion, cost and practicality are very high on the list of factors that will influence decisions."
