FESTIVAL-goers will be ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ tomorrow when 90s pop favourites Toploader head to town.
The band will headline the Blackburn Festival at Witton Park at the end of a day packed with a variety of entertainment.
Other performers on the main stage will include local dialect speaker Sid Calderbank, who gets the entertainment under way at noon, as well as bands including The Ragamuffins, Emmott and The Folkestra, Northern Jazz Orchestra, Bombay Baja and New York Tourists.
As well as music there will be a theatre and performance area. There will also be an open mic tent hosted by street band Blowjangles, art and craft workshops, a funfair, art exhibition and food and drink.
Darwen brewery Hopstar will provide beers at the real ale and cider tent, which will also feature beverages from Bolton’s Red Bank Cider.
