AN alleged heroin street dealer will have his case heard at Burnley Crown Court.
Amir Afzal, 44, of Thomas Street, Colne, appeared before Burnley magistrates, accused of two counts of possessing the drug with intent to supply.
He is alleged to have possessed 10.9 grams of heroin with intent to supply on September 2 and to have committed a similar offence on or between October 18 and November 20.
The alleged ‘commercial supply’ offences are said to have taken place in Colne. The defendant did not indicate pleas and the bench sent the case to be heard at the higher court.
