THREE men have appeared before Preston Crown Court to admit their part in a major drugs conspiracy in Burnley and Pendle.
Shiraz Afzal, 27, of Limefield Avenue, Brierfield, Ziad Khaliq, 28, of Devonshire Road, Burnley, and Haroon Mahmood, 24, of John Street, Brierfield, have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
However, not guilty pleas were entered by four further men in relation to the drugs conspiracy; Mohammed Zishan Amjad, 26, of Eskdale Close, Ihsaan Ali, 45, of Heyhead Street, Furqan Amjad, 24, of Halifax Road, all Brierfield, and Anwar Ahmed, 28, of Colne Road, Burnley.
The four will stand trial at Preston from February 9 next year.
Another charge of possession of criminal property was faced by Furqan Ahmed alone.
