COMMUTERS heading from East Lancashire towards Manchester are facing lengthy delays this morning after a three-car crash on the M66.

An incident between junction one at Ramsbottom and junction two at Bury on the southbound side of the motorway has caused tailbacks into Rawtenstall and on the A56 through Edenfield and Haslingden.

One southbound lane has been closed while motorway police remove debris from the road. The Highways Agency said no-one was injured in the collision.

Better start a campaign to get that motorway lit. After all that sun thing is just not up to the job, so drivers can't be expected to drive properly when they have to rely on it.

Don't talk bull sh*t
It is down to bad driving not the lack of lights, there should be no accidents on motorways if people would dive to the road conditions after all everyone is going in the same direction so no oncoming traffic

Well spotted. Though I didn't think it would be that difficult to spot.

Give over posting krap. Just because the flow of traffic is in one direction doesn't necessarily mean there would be no accidents. Lane changing and joining the motorway are usually the main factors for motorway collisions and

Give over posting krap. Just because the flow of traffic is in one direction doesn't necessarily mean there would be no accidents. Lane changing and joining the motorway are usually the main factors for motorway collisions due to lack of concentration and speed, and it all comes down to negligent drivers, and finally you should learn to smile a bit at sarcasm rather than being a miserable Jeremy clarkson.
