THE Soccer Burnley five-a-side football centre hosted a tournament to support Help for Heroes.

The event was organised by Soccer Burnley assistant manager Wayne Duxbury, who is an Army reservist. Wayne, who has worked at Soccer Burnley for 12 months, is has played as a forward for the Army Signals team, as well as the national Army team.

Andrew Brown, the Crow Wood Leisure managing director, said: “We’re very proud to have hosted this event at and supported such a worthy cause.

“It was a great day and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it – Wayne did a great job pulling it all together.”
