POLICE are asking for your help to trace two men they need to speak to.

The first is Jason Edward Smith, whose last known address was in the Witton area of Blackburn, and who it is believed could have vital information about a robbery in Tower View, Belthorn, on June 28.

MORE TOP STORIES:

Officers are warning the public not to approach the 28-year-old, who was described as white, of muscular build and 6ft tall with short, dark hair and a dark complexion, but to contact them immediately if they know where he is.

Smith also has a missing upper front tooth and tattoos including the name ‘Becky’ on the back of his neck and a dollar sign on his right forearm.

There is a possibility he could have travelled to Manchester and he was last seen leaving East Lancashire in a silver saloon car.

Det Con Rob Sledge, from Blackburn Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of inquiries to try to trace Smith and I am appealing to the public for their help.

“We believe that he may be with associates in the East Manchester area and I would urge anyone who knows where he might be to contact us.”

The second man they want to trace is Lee Haworth, 35, from the Rosehill area of Burnley.

He is wanted for questioning in relation to an assault in January. Police said he often went to the Manchester Road Area of Rosehill and is understood to have access to a blue Audi A3.

He was described as white, of medium build and 6ft 1ins tall, with short, brown hair, brown eyes and a tribal tattoo on his right arm.

Sgt Andy Horne, East division crime and tasking co-ordinator, said: “East division remains committed to make communities safe, and local people can assist with this goal.”

Anybody with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

He looks like your typical ne'er-do-well that hasn't contributed anything positive to society throughout his worthless life but has been a burden on the state benefits system, prison service, criminal justice system and probably NHS costing the taxpayer no doubt hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Cost of a 9mm bullet = about twelve pence. Say no more.
