A WOMAN had to be cut from a car following a rush hour crash earlier today.
Police, fire engines, and ambulances were called to the top of Chapel House Road, in Nelson, at around 4.30pm after a silver Skoda Octavia and silver Vauxhall Astra were involved in a crash.
A police spokesman said: “There were some injuries, but they were only minor.
One woman was trapped, and the fire service had to cut the roof off one of the cars, although she seemed fine.”
