Missing Newcastle woman believed to be in Lancashire

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a missing Newcastle woman who is believed to be somewhere in Lancashire.

Janice Ormston, aged 52, from Dunstanburgh Road, in Byker has not been seen since Monday, June 16 at 9am when she left home.

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

Mrs Ormston is described as: white, 5ft 8ins tall, stocky build with mousey brown hair in a pony tail. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black leggings and possibly wearing white trainers.

Police are concerned for her welfare and are carrying out enquiries to locate Mrs Ormston.

Anyone with information, anyone who thinks they have seen Mrs Ormston, or who knows where she is should contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 238 of 17/06/14 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
