Business stars to appear at Turf Moor
A MAJOR business exhibition in Burnley, headlined by a former Apprentice semi-finalist and a Chan nel 5 presenter, should see 500 delegates descend on Turf Moor.
More than 70 participants have already been lined up for Expo North West, at Burnley FC, on Wednesday, July 9.
Business guru Neil Clough and Gadget Show frontman Jon Bentley have been lined up as guest speakers, with O2, Bowker International, Willow Starcom and Lesar UK signed up for stands.
Promoters are confident the free gathering will become a regular fixture at the Clarets’ home, and could even take place twice a year as businesses look to develop new leads, and network.
Neil said: “I will be talking about why I’m so motivated to succeed in business, along with sharing stories from The Apprentice. It was an amazing and life-changing experience and I really hope my talk will help motivate and inspire.”
The semi-finalist in the 2013 Apprentice series has already been working closely with Burnley- based David Walker, of +24 Mark-eting, to launch his own consultancy firm. Jon, a former producer of BBC’s Top Gear before going in front of the camera, will present a seminar called ‘Business Gadgets That Don’t Work!’, while also adv-ising on a few which do.
Marc Gordon, of Exposure Events, which organises similar expos across the UK, said: “We are delighted to bring our successful Expo to Turf Moor for what will be a fabulous event, with a tremendous array of speakers.”
