HUNDREDS of people took advantage of the hottest weekend of the year to enjoy Witton Park Country Fair in Blackburn.
The park was bathed in sunshine as the popular annual event, run in conjunction with Myerscough College Open Day and Blackburn with Darwen Council, took place yesterday.
The event included a display of exotic reptiles, environmental displays and demonstrations, face-painting, a funfair, live music and entertainment.
There were also two guided family bike journeys led by British Cycling Ride leaders around the park.
