POLICE officers and staff from across Lancashire have been honoured for their dedication at this year’s bravery and ambition awards.
The event was held at the Ellis Conference Centre at Lancashire Constabulary HQ and saw awards presented to officers who have been recognised for their actions in the line of duty.
Chief Constable Steve Finnigan said: “This awards ceremony is a particularly important night that allows us to recognise the remarkable acts of bravery and dedication by our own officers.”
Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw said: “I am always impressed when I see Lancashire’s officers in action, but sometimes officers go above and beyond the call of duty, and it is only right we recognise this.”
