A HISTORIC vehicle enthusiast from Burnley will showcase a 1960s fire engine at a festival in Yorkshire.
The Austin fire appliance will be on show at Newby Hall Tractor Fest on Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8, as part of a display of historic emergency vehicles.
Retired ambulanceman Alan Dunderdale will show off his Austin Gipsy fire appliance and trailer pump.
The 1963 vehicle was originally owned by Cornwall County Fire Brigade. Alan, who used to work for South Yorkshire Ambulance Service, owns a fleet of emergency service vehicles.
Tickets for the festival, at at Newby Hall, in Ripon, are £9.50 adults, £8.50 concessions and £7.50 for children.
