A SERIES of walks led by the RSPB continues next week.
The latest walk, will be led by Jude Lane from the bird charity, in the United Utilities Bowland Estate on Friday, May 16, with others being held on June 7 and 27 and July 4.
The United Utilities Bowland Estate used to be England’s stronghold for hen harriers but the birds have not bred there for the past two seasons.
All of the walks are five miles long and begin at 9.30am.
Tickets cost £5 and need to be booked in advance by contacting Fariha Quraishi on 01524 581001 or at fariha.quraishi@rspb.org.uk.
All money raised will be put back into the conservation of hen harriers in Northern England.
