Burnley and Pendle Citizen: Burnley bus pervert faced charges elsewhere Burnley bus pervert faced charges elsewhere

A PERVERT caught behaving indecently on a bus in the Burnley and Pendle area has been ordered to stay out of Lancashire.

Graham Marsden, 70, was caught behaving lewdly underneath his coat on the number 25 Mainline service, Burnley Crown Court was told.

Prosecutor Stephen Parker said that a 17-year-old girl and her younger sister were in the vicinity when the incident occurred on November 12 last year as the bus travelled between Burnley and Keighley.

The court heard that Marsden had a number of previous convictions of a similar nature on his criminal record.

John Booth, defending, said that his client was also facing two similar allegations, which were due to be finalised at Leeds Crown Court on May 7.

Marsden, of Brooklyn Place, Armley, Leeds, was originally accused of indecent exposure but a charge of outraging public decency was substituted, which he admitted.

He also pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual offences prevention order, imposed at Leeds at the end of January 2009.

Remitting the case to Leeds for sentence, Judge Jonathan Gibson said: “It seems to me that this is highly desirable.

“It seems that there is an order which is currently outstanding involving this defendant, that needs to be addressed, and it would be sensible to deal with sentencing collectively rather than individually.”

Marsden was bailed on condition he does not enter Lancashire again before the Leeds hearing.

He is already on bail in the other proceedings not to enter Leeds city centre except to attend medical and legal appointments.

Because unlike you, Steven, most people are civilised and prefer to have the law administered by the police rather than by violent thugs.

Not really the definition of justice though is it? A referral order and a 6 months curfew dished out by the mighty hammer of justice brought down by Judge Lunt.

If this filthy piece knew there was a risk of being slapped senseless for behaving in such a manner on a bus maybe he'd think twice about doing it.

In the mean time I think you should go and make a daisy chain and hug a few trees. Grow a pair.
