THE results of an employee survey carried out at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust revealed that just 40 per cent of staff had received a ‘structured appraisal’ during the last year.
This figure compares to 46 per cent who had been appraised in the year 2012/13.
However, a review of the findings showed 85 per cent had an ‘appraisal/annual review/development review or knowledge and skills framework development review’ during the last 12 months, although these may not have been carried out through the usual formal process.
