AN investigation has been launched after four people were hospitalised after contracting E.coli at an East Lancashire farm shop and outlet village.
Public Health England (PHE) and the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency are investigating after 11 people contracted E.coli 0157 after visiting Huntley’s Country Store in Samlesbury over recent weeks.
All contact between animals and the public at the premises has now been stopped.
PHE are advising people to seek medical advice if they are suffering any systems by contacting NHS service 111.
