THE waters around Barley were engulfed by a tiny armada as part of an annual fundraising tradition for a Pendle village school.
Dozens of miniature boats were released into Barley Water in a sponsored event for St Mary’s Newchurch-in-Pendle Primary School.
Each of the day-glo craft, launched from a footbridge, are numbered on the bottom with a prize for the boat which careered fastest downstream.
