PENDLE Leisure Trust and local fire officers are setting people a challenge to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.
The people of Pendle have been invited to put their strength and stamina to the test and try and beat the firemen and women at their own game.
On Saturday, May 10, they will compete in a day of endurance tests designed to put them through their paces at Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre in Nelson.
Individuals and teams of four will take part in activities, and prizes will be awarded to first male, first woman and first team, plus several fire fighters choice awards.
The price is £10 per person or £32 for a team of four. All entrants must be aged over 18 years.
Entry forms are available from Pendle Leisure Trust centres or Nelson Fire Station. Call Tom Harrety on 01282 612312 or email tomharrety@lancsfirerescue.org.uk. Spectators welcome.
