First published in News

FALLEN power cables have caused long delays for drivers travelling near Hapton this morning.

The A6068 has been closed both ways between junction 8 of the M65 and the A678 Blackburn Road, due to the fallen cables.

The eastbound exit sliproad of the M65 was also closed but has now re-opened.

Electricity North West said its workmen are currently on the scene, while police have been managing the road closures.
