A SPRING fair will take place next weekend, organised by the Earby and District Community Association Minibus Sub-Committee.
The event takes place at the New Road Community Centre, from 10am to 1pm, on Saturday (April 5).
The association took delivery of a replacement minibus earlier this year after raising £30,000 over 14 years, and proceeds from the fair will launch a new minibus replacement fund.
Society member Bob Abel said: “We are now looking to the next generation minibus as a legacy for those who come after us. We must not rest on our laurels.”
At the fair there will be a variety of stalls and displays put on by some of the community centre’s user groups and refreshments including tea, coffee, bacon butties and scones and hot lunches will be available.
There will also be a bumper raffle, which will be drawn at 12.30pm.
