A FORMER banking PA is ‘living the dream’ after her vintage pop-up shop in Frank Street in Barnoldswick proved to be a hit.
Wave of Nostalgia owner Diane Park, who has been selling vintage gifts and made-to-measure items for a year, will soon be based permanently in the town.
Her pop-up shop closes tomorrow, but from June she will be taking up residency at 19 Rainhall Road.
And in the meantime, she’ll be touring the local vintage markets, including the one in Nelson from April 4 to 6.
She said: “My pop-up shop has gone down so well that I have decided to stay in the town.
“The town has such a great feel – full of independent shops and everyone is so kind, thoughtful and wonderfully polite.
“I took a large risk leaving a major financial services company, but have been working for myself for a year now and haven’t looked back.”
