A PENDLE gardening project is looking for new participants.
The Good Life Project is a therapeutic horticulture programme run by Pendle Leisure Trust.
The project aims to help adults who suffer from social isolation gain confidence.
The Good Life aims to improve mental well-being, physical health while caring for a community allotment.
Activities take place in a quiet and peaceful setting on Hodge House Allotments, off Reedyford Road in Nelson and include growing fruit, vegetables and flowers, wood-working, art activities and general gardening.
The project is looking for participants who wish to improve their confidence and skills in a garden based setting, with a view to them getting them better integrated in their local community or returning to mainstream training or employment.
Those who may benefit from the service can contact Joanne Dootson joanne.dootson@pendle.gov.uk or telephone on 01282 661739 or 07753778600 for further information.
