A COFFEE morning to raise money for the Sam Shaw Appeal takes place from 10am on Saturday at the Carus Centre in the youngster’s home town of Hoddlesden.
Neuroblastoma sufferer Sam, five, has just returned to his Glencoe Avenue home after the public appeal raised £250,000 to pay for immunotherapy treatment in the US.
But the appeal goes on to fund potential further treatment in the case of complications or recurrence.
Any money raised but not needed will stay with the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance.
