THE closing date for entries to this year’s Pendle Business Awards has now passed.
The judges are examining the entries and will visit the successful businesses over the next few weeks so they can present their case for winning an award.
Coun Joe Cooney, leader of the council, said: “We’ve had a great response from local businesses and we’re thrilled to have received 75 entries.
“We have lots of successful companies here in Pendle which deserve recognition and the Business Awards are all about doing just that.”
Organised jointly by Pendle Vision and Pendle Council, the awards, now in their fourth year, have become a popular event in the borough’s business calendar.
The ceremony and dinner will be held at the Dunkenhalgh Mercure Hotel in Clayton-le-Moors on Friday, May 16.
