SURPLUS land left over from developing West Craven Technology College could be used to remodel land near Barnoldswick Primary School.
The development and alterations at the technology college resulted in 7,100 cubic metres of soil and sub-soil being generated from significant earthworks.
Now, it has been proposed that the material, being held on site at the school, is used to remodel a patch of open countryside, part of which forms the playing field of the primary school.
Pendle Council, a consultee on the plans which will be decided by Lancashire County Council, is expected to have no objections when the West Craven committee meets next week.
