PENDLE Hippodrome Youth Theatre has extended its camaderie from the Bugsy Malone show beyond the stage.
Not only did they enjoy months of rehearsal for the show, successfully staged last week, they have also packed bags at Sainsbury’s, sung at several old people’s homes, seen ‘West Side Story’ at the Palace Theatre and held a BUGsy Drive in the theatre bar.
The show itself received rave reviews with young talent such as Lewis Bolton taking the role of Bugsy. Robyn Hargreaves played Tallulah, Brogan Riley was Blousey and Ryan Sparks was Fat Sam.
Nick Staton, another of the group’s award winning young actors, played Dandy Dan and Marcus Geldard was Cagey Joe.
