SOLICITORS at Forbes have given their time free to help East Lancashire Hospice.

Forbes Solicitors raised £680 when clients made a donation to the hospice in return for a will.

Lorraine Wilson from Forbes handed over the cheque to hospice fundraiser Denise Gee.

Now the hospice is encouraging more people to make wills during the next Will Week, and support the charity in the process.

Hospice will week organiser Sharon Crymble said: "This is the fourth year we have run this service, with the support of solicitors such as Forbes allowing people to a make a will and the fee going directly towards patient care.

“We could not do this without the solicitors ‘help and advice and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who are involved.”

Victoria Motley, head of wills at Forbes Solicitors, said: “The Wills Team at Forbes were happy to take part in Will Week for East Lancashire Hospice.

“We actively encourage people to a make a Will and doing so during Will Week supports the Hospice which offers care and support to local people.”
