MORE than 60 people with money worries approached a social landlord in Burnley in their time of need.

Calico’s Money Wise team gave 62 customers practical advice and guidance with money and debt issues as part of national Debt Awareness Week.

Calico’s James Haigh and Julie Mayet were at Burnley Wood Community Centre, Colne Road Library and The Fold.

Helen Roberts, Calico’s income and financial inclusion manager, said: “It’s great that we managed to help so many people this week. But we know that there are still many more that could benefit from the services we offer.”
