FORMER Accrington and Rossendale College student Lee Ingleby will return to TV screens this week.
The actor will reprise his role as Detective Sergeant John Baccus in the sixth series of BBC crime drama Inspector George Gently.
The 38-year-old, from Brierfield, who also appeared in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, has been filming scenes in Durham with his sidekick Martin Shaw, who plays the show’s title character.
The former Burnley Youth Theatre stalwart has appeared in all 19 of the show’s episodes since 2007.
The new series begins at 8.30pm on BBC1 this Thursday.
