A WOMAN who suffered a suspected heart attack while driving a 4x4 which crashed into a parked car is believed to now be in a coma in hospital.
The woman, who lives in Burnley and is in her 30s, was airlifted to hospital following the accident in Loveclough on Saturday.
The driver is believed to have been helped by people who witnessed the 4x4 she was driving crash into a parked car, leading it to hit a second and a third parked vehicle in Burnley Road.
Police set up a road block in Manchester Road between Burnley and Crawshawbooth for around two hours while emergency services attended the scene. The woman was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital via air ambulance at around noon on Saturday.
