PLANS to turn offices at an Earby firm into 18 apartments will be discussed by councillors next week.

The scheme for the office building at Wardle Storey, in School Lane, is recommended for approval.

It has been brought before the West Craven Area Committee because three objections have been received.

Planning officer Kathryn Hughes said in a report: “The application site is a modern office building which is currently occupied on some level.

“There are residential and commercial properties in the area and the building is physically linked at first floor to the building across the street which is in the same ownership/use.

“All the apartments would have one bedroom and are proposed for elderly residents.”
