THE latest hopefuls aiming to get through to the finals of East Lancashire biggest talent contest have taken part in a series of live auditions.
Around 80 bands and solo artists have taken part in auditions at Reidy’s Home of Music superstore in Blackburn.
Up for grabs are places in the live heats for the Lancashire Telegraph-backed Reidy’s Talent Contest. These begin at Blakey’s in King George’s Hall on February 20 with four heats, culminating in a grand final at King George’s Hall on March 27.
The winner will receive £1,000 voucher to spend at Reidy’s, the chance to record a single at the state-of-the-art recording studios at Clitheroe Grand and have an accompanying video produced by Blackburn College.
The contest is open to unsigned performers across East Lancashire.
