ONE of the proteges of Dragons’ Den is set to share her expertise with entrepreneurs at a broadband showcase early next month.
Kirsty Henshaw, originally from Preston, will be the keynote speaker at a Superfast Lancashire gathering in Burnley on Wednesday, February 5.
Business go-getters have been invited to a forum at Turf Moor which feature the innovative Longridge ice-cream maker.
She secured £65,000 from TV ‘dragons’ Duncan Bannatyne and Peter Jones to launch her desserts empire and she will be sharing a whole menu of business tips.
County council leader Coun Jennifer Mein said: “Superfast Lancashire will bring great benefits for the county – not just for individuals but for businesses too.
“A key part of the project is ensuring that business people across the county are fully aware of how access to high-speed broadband can help their businesses.”
The ‘Superfast’ broadband programme aims to bring greater internet connection speed to 97 per cent of businesses and homes in the county.
