Green Chimney in Colne voted best independent shop.

SHOPPERS in Pendle have voted the Green Chimney, in Colne, as the borough’s best independent shop. Residents nominated and voted for their favourite shop in a competition started by Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson. He said: “It’s fitting that so many people voted for the Green Chimney after the work the Hook family have put in to bringing a derelict shop back into use that had been an eyesore for many years.” In the individual town awards the winners were: Decisions Decisions (Barnoldswick), Creative Gifts (Nelson), Green Chimney (Colne), Barrowford Pet Store, (Barrowford), Kraftwork Precious Metals (Barrowford) and X Transmission bike shop (Earby).

Really? It's alright but it's not great, the layout is fairly poor for starters, I went in the other week and the front door opened into a table (as in actually touched it)
