M65 re-opened after five car smash between Brierfield and Burnley

A FIVE car pile up on the M65 between Brierfield and Burnley caused long delays this evening.

One lane was blocked and traffic came to a standstill at around 5.25pm. The westbound carriageway has now re-opened after the vehicles were removed from the scene.

Nobody is thought to have been hurt.
