POLICE want to speak to a couple after cash was stolen from a purse at Buckshaw Parkway station, Chorley.
The incident happened just before 7pm on Monday, November 18 after a woman left her purse on a seat.
PC Lorraine Faulkner said: “Shortly after, a second couple entered the booking office and, having spotted the purse, the man checked through it and took £45 from it before getting on a train.”
Following the incident BTP officers conducted a number of inquiries and have isolated a number of CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to.
PC Faulkner added: “I am convinced the people captured on CCTV have key information.”
