PUPILS at a Barnoldswick school have been given advice on how to write a review.
Film critic Josh Hammond talked to year 11 students at West Craven High Technology College as an introduction to their GCSE English Language assessment.
Josh studied English at Cardiff University and has spent the past year building a website and going to film festivals around the world.
Josh is studying for a Masters degree in magazine journalism at the University of Central Lancashire.
He gave advice how to write a review and how to avoid common pitfalls. He also asked pupils to submit writing to his site.
Head boy James Goodall said: “The session was incredibly interesting and informative and gave me an insight into how to write a good review.”
