A TEENAGER has been placed on a curfew by Burnley magistrates after he injured a woman pedestrian in a quad bike crash.

Abdul Ahad crashed into Fatima Khan while riding a Yamaha four-wheeler along Burleigh Street on October 19, the court was told.

Ahad, of Kent Street, Burnley, admitted failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident to police, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and having no insurance.

His curfew will last from 8pm to 8am and will be electronically monitored.

Magistrates also imposed a 30-hour attendance centre order on the 18-year-old, along with a £60 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

He was also disqualified from driving for six months.
