EAST Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust has changed its nursing and midwifery strategy after encouraging feedback from staff.
The new document details priorities for the next three years to continue to support the delivery of safe, personal, and effective care.
Acting chief nurse Hayley Citrine said: “The listening events, which were held over the summer, and which were open to all our nurses and midwives, played a key part in informing the strategy.
“Each nurse, midwife and care provider at the trust has a personal responsibility to ensure that we provide the highest quality of care for our patients.
“And I believe the strategy sets out a clear process on how we will give safe, personal and effective care to every patient, every time.”
