A CONSULTATION on introducing a selective licensing scheme in the Gannow and Queensgate areas of Burnley ends on January 5.
Selective licensing encourages landlords and residents to work together with the council, and other partners, to boost areas by improving the management of private rented properties, tackling anti-social behaviour and crime, and increasing demand for housing.
Burnley Council wants to gather the views of residents, landlords, and other interested parties, before making a final decision in March next year.
A questionnaire is available for residents and landlords to fill in. The selective licensing team can be contacted on 01282 425011 ext 3204, 3205 and 3189.
