A VOLUNTARY organisation is appealing for small Christmas gifts to donate to homeless, and abused, women and young people in Pendle.
Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service is asking for sweets, chocolate, and other items for children having Christmas lunch at Pendle Women’s Refuge, SafeSpace, and The Lookout.
A CVS spokeswoman said: “Any donations will really help make a young person’s Christmas a little bit more enjoyable this year.”
Drop-off points are at Nelson Town Hall, and SafeSpace, in Leeds Road, Nelson. For more details, call Claire Bennett on 01282 619192, or email claire. bennett@pendle-action.org.uk
