A BURST water pipe caused three inches of water to flood the dialysis unit at Burnley General Hospital.
The unit is closed at weekends so no patients were affected.
Fire crews were called to the hospital at around 11.30am yesterday and spent two and a half hours on site pumping the water out.
A fire service spokesman said: “There was around three inches of water on the floor.
"The unit was closed but the water needed clearing so it can open during the week.”
