NORTHERN Rail has so far raised more than £10,000 for Movember.
The train operator teamed up with the men’s health charity that aims to raise awareness and funds for issues, such as prostate and testicular cancers.
The charity encourages men to grow a moustache for the month of November and collect sponsorship money for the cause.
Northern launched the world’s first ‘Mo Train’ – a train with a moustache – on November 1 and 200 Northern colleagues signed up as Mo Bros and Mo Sistas and pledged to raise money.
Northern’s managing director, Alex Hynes, said: “We are thrilled to have raised so much money for a fantastic charity like Movember.”
