A HOMELESS man who was missing for almost a week has been found safe and well.
James Mitchell, 59, was discovered in Burnley on Tuesday night, five days after he was last spotted.
Mr Mitchell, orginally from Colne, had been living in a tent by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, in Barrowford, for the past year, Lancashire Police said.
It is believed Mr Mitchell’s tent collapsed during high winds last week.
