The Swallow Hotel in Preston New Road closed in April and will reopen as the Samlesbury Hotel.
It will have 80 bedrooms, meeting rooms and a main event room accommodating up to 220 people.
The hotel is being opened in stages from Thursday, December 19.
The hotel was taken over by Manchester-based Squire Hotels after spending four years in administration.
Sales manager Bob Cavanagh, said: “We are committed to establishing a quality, four star guest experience and making the Samlesbury Hotel into the place to meet, eat and chat.”
Commercial manager Mark Illingworth said: “This an iconic hotel in a superb location and the refurbishment has totally transformed the property.
“We are excited by the future and have been very encouraged by the response.”
