PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson has welcomed the latest figures from Family Fund showing the support they are offering to families in Pendle.
The charity’s aim is to provide help and support to ease the pressure on families caring for disabled or seriously ill children. They provide grants to help these families, covering the cost of household items and other specialised equipment.
Mr Stephenson said: “The support offered by Family Fund is vital to many people in Pendle. By helping to ease the pressure of family life on parents caring for ill or disabled children, it is improving the quality of life they can enjoy.
“With Government backing from all parts of the UK, I hope that Family Fund can carry on having a positive impact on thousands of families.”
