GAWTHORPE Hall will be decked out in style for its popular Victorian Christmas celebrations later this month.
It will host musicians, book readings and period dance troupe Regency Rejigged on December 14 and 15.
Rachel Pollitt, Lancashire County Council’s museum manager at Gawthorpe, said: "We've got something to help the entire family to get their festive season off to a very merry start.
"The hall will be decorated in the style that the family who lived there in Victorian times would have expected, including several Christmas trees.
"Of course Father Christmas will be there.”
The event takes place from 11am to 3pm on both days.
